Matt Stell reveals he got engaged… and married the following day.
The Arkansas-born country artist, known for songs like “Prayed For You” and “Breaking’ in Boots,” shared the photos with now-wife Kasey Harvey on Instagram on Monday evening (January 6). Stell, 40, popped the question to Harvey on a beach on Friday (January 3). Th couple tied the knot on Saturday (January 4). He wrote in his caption on Instagram: “We got engaged on Friday! And Married on Saturday!!!! Love you 4eva Kasey STELL.”
The first photo in Stell’s post captures the moment he proposed to Harvey. The second slide is a photo of the newlywed couple’s wedding rings, and the third offers glimpses of their wedding day via printed photos displayed across a countertop.
“What’s up, y’all? Hope your Christmas and New Year were great. Ours was, because on Friday, we were in Mexico and we got engaged,” Stell said in a video he posted on Instagram. As Harvey flashed her ring to the camera, he said, “boom! That was on Friday, and on Saturday we got married. I’m not joking. She married me on Saturday. How ‘bout them apples?”
