Chase Stokes gushed over Kelsea Ballerini as he attended the CFDA Awards in New York City on Monday evening (November 6). The Outer Banks and “HEARTFIRST” stars first prompted dating rumors in January, and shortly afterward, Ballerini confirmed the new romance in an interview.
Catching up with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet, Stokes shared that “his relationship with Ballerini has “been such a blessing over the last couple of months, 'cause we've had the time to do it. I'm just, I'm happy as a bean.” He also teased “we’ll see,” when asked whether he’ll accompany Ballerini to the 57th Annual CMA Awards hosted on Wednesday evening (November 8) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.
Ballerini is one of many country stars set to take the stage during the CMA Awards, hailed Country Music’s Biggest Night. The lineup also includes Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, HARDY, Alan Jackson, Cody Johnson, Post Malone, Mac McAnally, Ashley McBryde, Morgan Wallen, The War And Treaty, Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll, K. Michelle, Little Big Town, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Carly Pearce, Chris Stapleton, Tanya Tucker and Lainey Wilson. Bryan is set to return to host the show with NFL star Peyton Manning. Ballerini is also up for Album of theYear (Rolling Up The Welcome Mat) and Female Vocalist of the Year. See the full list of nominees here.
The 57th CMA Awards will air live on ABC from Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, beginning at 8pm ET/7pm CT.
