Darrell Waltrip announced retirement from Fox

Darrell Waltrip announced his retirement from Fox Sports today. During his racing career, Darrell won three championships and 84 races in NASCAR's top division. In August of 1999, he announced that the 2000 season would be his final season in racing. In 2001, Darrell Waltrip joined Fox Sports, where he has called races for 19 years. Waltrip's final broadcast will be June 23rd from Sonoma.
