Last night's CMA awards started off with a major "side-eye" from the queen of country music. Luke Bryan opened the award show with a covid joke. "We are following all the health protocols to keep everyone safe. And it's so great to be here with all my fellow artists, tested and together or immunized." Once that statement was made, the cameras panned over to Carrie Underwood who was giving Luke a major side eye. That look should have won it's own CMA trophy!
Earlier in the week Carrie Underwood's husband stood up for NFL quarter back Aaron Rodgers who tested positive with Covid and admitted he wasn't vaccinated and apologized for misleading others to believe he was when he said he was "immunized." Soooo, sounds like a direct aim at the Fisher/Underwood family. But, Carrie handled it with grace.... gave the side-eye and continued on with her night.
