If you're a fan of the Netflix documentary "Tiger King," there's now an eight episode scripted mini-series based on Joe Exotic in the works. Nicolas Cage will be taking on the role of Joe Exotic in the television series called "Joe Exotic: A Dark Journey Into The World of a Man Gone Wild" based on the Texas Monthly article written by Leif Reigstad. Nicolas Cage is a very successful movie actor but surprisingly this will be his first ever television role. Executive producer Dan Lagana told Entertainment Weekly, "Everyone now knows a version of this story — but we’re going to expand upon the timeline, and take the time to explore every corner of this lion’s den.”
While everyone is excited about the new mini-series, social media had mixed reviews on Cage playing the lead role. I mean Charlie Sheen literally "has tiger blood" and David Spade looks just like Joe! (hello, Joe Dirt)
