There's a shortage of protective medical gear all over our nation due to the overwhelming cases of the Coronavirus. Medical supplies are dwindling as medical professionals are doing all they can to save as many lives as possible. Charlotte Latin School stepped in to help! The Engineering students and teachers created a GoFundMe account to raise money to 3D print face shields to help the doctors and nurses on the front lines fighting this illness. A ten dollar donation creates two face shields. So far they've raised over $50,000 and have already delivered the first batch of face shields!!
