For twenty-four years Mr. Kinnie Morris has been the school custodian at Jim Pearson Elementary. Lately, Mr. Morris has has some health problems and due to problems with his car he's had a hard time getting to doctors appointments. On many occasions he would have to borrow a friend's car just to get to work. When the community heard about Mr. Morris' dilemma they wanted to do something to help. The town came together and raised enough money to surprise Mr. Morris with a car! You can see the emotion on Mr. Morris' face when he realized how much the community loves him. They all came together to bless his life, just like he's been a blessing theirs. First grade teacher Ellen Price said, "This school would truly not run as efficiently or be as much fun without Mr. Morris!!!
