Most teenagers cringe with the thought of their parents having access to their location at all times but a North Carolina teen is crediting a phone app for saving her life. Macy Smith didn't show up at home by curfew which was out of character for her. Like all parents, her mom, Catrina Alexander, panicked when Macy didn't respond to text messages and phone calls. Catrina used Apple's 'Find My Friends' app and saw that her daughter had been in the same location for an extended time. Catrina jumped in the car to go the location and found out her daughter had wrecked and her car fell down an embankment. Macy's car hydroplaned, flipped three times and pinned her between the car and the ground. Macy said the only thing she could reach was her bible and she feels like the Lord saved her life. Macy is thankful for her Mom and wants to share with other teens and parents how an app life this could save your life.
