It’s graduation season and many families are celebrating their child’s accomplishment with a graduation party. Marsy Flores from Texas wanted her daughter’s party to be perfect. Unfortunately things did not go smoothly. Flores went to pick up her daughter’s two-tier graduation cake from Walmart and to her surprise, the cake wasn’t ready and Walmart couldn’t find the order. Walmart tried to make good and offered her another cake free of charge. Flores grabbed a cake and Walmart added Graduation things and her daughter’s picture.
Later that evening Flores went to cut into the cake and that’s when she discovered the cake was Styrofoam. Walmart issued a statement regarding the incident saying: "Incident was result of a misunderstanding. The matter has been resolved. The customer was given a gift card for her inconvenience."
Flores was upset that her daughter’s special moment was ruined by the mistakes made by Walmart. Walmart tried to make good on their mistake and gave her family a $60 gift card for the inconvenience.
