I was just reading a story of a support dog biting a little girl on a Southwest flight today. The little girl apparently got out of her seat, walked over to the dog unannounced and tried to pet him. The dog reacted (as you might think) by biting her. Paramedics were called and the dog and his owner were taken off the flight. You can read the story HERE. As a father I feel bad for the little girl and thankfully it wasn't that bad, reports are the dog just scraped here forehead. But as a dog lover and big supporter of support animals, I'm also a little outraged. Where were the parents of this little girl? Why wasn't she taught to leave strange dogs alone? Too often dogs are blamed for these type of incidents when they can be avoided by TEACHING YOUR KIDS TO BEHAVE! Now everyone is outraged and they are calling for support animals to be banned from flying. What do you think? Who is at fault here??
