Fan of the new Roseanne, but not a fan of Roseanne, and yet you don't want the show to go away?
You could be in luck!
Roseanne could be getting another "reboot" but without Roseanne!
ABC is trying to save the jobs of everyone on the show, and the network executives kicked negotiations into high gear when the man who produced "Roseanne" through his company got involved over the weekend in direct talks with top network bosses.
His involvement has all but secured the show's future.
The network's fine tuning last-minute details ... ABC has been exploring the possibility of rebranding the show and focus on Sara Gilbert's character, Darlene.
John Goodman is "very interested" ... as is the rest of the cast and crew.
There is a possible snag (of course there could be).
Although ABC seems to have had good cause to fire Roseanne as both the star and Executive Producer, the network may be contractually bound to pay her a fee or back end or both for her participation in creating the show.
ABC was trying to figure out a way to salvage the jobs of those affected by ABC's decision to axe the show ... but now, even if it is a rebranded version, Roseanne could be rebooted, and an announcement could come as early as this week!
