It was hard to hear that Charlie Daniels passed away. He was an icon, and from what I've heard one of the nicest people on the planet! I never had the privilege of seeing him live, but I do remember the 1st time I heard The Devil Went Down To Georgia on the radio when I was a little boy and I was blown away! I didn't grow up listening to country music because a lot of people made fun of it for some reason, but this song changed that for me and I decided I didn't care what people thought I was going to be a country music fan no matter what! So I am forever grateful for that one moment in time where I first heard Charlie Daniels!
