Jon Hamm returns to comedy in Confess, Fletch

When I was a little kid, I remember seeing the movie Fletch starring Chevy Chase. I couldn't tell you what it about... I don't really remember anything about it! But I DO remember Chevy Chase playing Fletch... and who doesn't love Chevy Chase?

Fast Forward to now... who doesn't love Jon Hamm? Jon has perfectly portrayed so many great characters. If you ever watched "Mad Men," you either hated to love or loved to hate Don Draper. Either way, there is no other actor I can think of that would have played Don Draper better than Jon Hamm. I will even go as far as to say that Jon Hamm playing Don Draper is probably one of the greatest roles in television history. EVER!

Everything Jon Hamm does is perfection- whether he's playing a serious character like Admiral Simpson in Top Gun: Maverick, the sleazy character that Kristen Wiig's character hooked up with in Bridesmaids, or anything in between. According to IMDB, Jon Hamm has 114 acting credits to his name- not counting his hilarious appearances in the new Progressive Insurance commercials- and he's not slowing down any time soon. Probably because he's that good.

Jon Hamm's next role will be to revive the character of Fletch that Chevy Chase made famous, based on the book by Gregory McDonald. Confess, Fletch is due in theaters and on-demand on September 16th, and as excited as I was to watch the trailer itself, I was even MORE excited to see Jon Hamm reunited with John Slattery. If you were a fan of "Mad Men," you know the on-screen magic that Don Draper and Roger Sterling created. How cool is it to see Jon Hamm and John Slattery together again?

This is gonna be good...
