Thomas Rhett is no stranger to number one hits. In fact, his latest song "Slow Down Summer" just became his 19th number one hit. NINETEEN NUMBER ONE HITS!!! How great is that?!?
While taking his daughter Lennon to the beach to take pictures, "Slow Down Summer" came on the radio and a happy TR took to social media to share the good news that he had the new number one song in the Country. He posted "Found out that “slow down summer” is the #1 song in the country at radio today. Just feeling very grateful for everyone involved in the process. The writers, producers, radio team, my family, country radio and most important YALL!! Sitting “in park” in the car with Lennon and this is the first song we hear. He also included a video of him with Lennon in the post.
I think it's safe to say that most everyone who saw the video or has heard the song is happy for TR... I mean, it is a GREAT song and he's a GREAT artist! But there is one person that may not be as impressed as the rest of us, and that is Lennon. From the looks of this video, it's going to take a lot more than 19 number one hits to impress her!
