Beavis and Butthead are grown up and headed to Paramount+

I am not gonna lie... I LOVED Beavis and Butt-Head back in the day! So I might be just a little too excited over the news that Beavis and Butt-Head have aged and are headed to Paramount+ for a movie!

Creator Mike Judge tweeted about the movie last night, saying "Beavis and Butt-Head will be returning this year with a brand new movie and more on Paramount+. No exact date yet, but soon. They need some time to get back in shape." The tweet was accompanied by a drawing that has definitely aged Beavis and Butt-Head... and the drawing looks about right. In 2011, Mike Judge told Rolling Stone magazine that if he were to give them an age, "it would probably be 15." Beavis and Butt-Head originally ran on MTV from 1993-1997, so if they we 15 in 1993, they'd be 44 now, and this drawing is pretty much what you would expect mid-40s Beavis and Butt-Head to look like!

In addition to the original MTV series, Beavis and Butt-Head was revived for one season in 2011. There was also a feature film, "Beavis and Butt-Head Do America," that was released in 1996. The forthcoming movie mentioned in Mike Judge's tweet will be their second movie. It was also announced in 2020 that there will be a second revival of the series on Comedy Central, which has already ordered two seasons.

Huh huh huh huh huh cool.
