Ryan Blaney wins NASCAR race, gives flag to young fan

NASCAR Cup Series Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500

Today's NASCAR Cup series race, the Folds Of Honor Quick Trip 500 from Atlanta Motor Speedway, was another great race! But what happened after the checkered flag waved was my favorite part.

First, let's give credit to Kyle Larson. Kyle was absolutely dominant, winning stages one and two and leading 269 laps of the 325 laps. But on lap 317, Ryan Blaney passed Kyle and went on to win by just over two seconds. After his celebratory burnout, Blaney went to the flag stand, took the checkered flag, and then pointed to a young fan in the stands wearing a Ryan Blaney t-shirt and gave him the flag. This isn't the first time Ryan has done this, but it's just as special every single time and it NEVER gets old!
