Morgan Wallen makes fun of himself in Saturday Night Live skit

Morgan Wallen was set to be the musical guest a couple of months ago on Saturday Night Live, but due to some shenanigans in Alabama that ended up all over the internet, Morgan was uninvited over Covid concerns. When he was uninvited, he was told that he would be invited again someday. Morgan took to the internet to tell his fans that he was going to spend some time on himself.

Things quickly turned around for Morgan. He won the CMA New Artist of the Year award, his song "More Than My Hometown" hit number in the country, and Morgan was indeed invited once again to be the musical guets on SNL. That show aired last night.

Not only was Morgan an excellent musical guest, but he starred in a skit poking fun at himself over the Alabama incident. In case you missed it or want to see it again, here is that skit.

Here's a picture with (l-r) me, Morgan, and my boyfriend Steve from a concert where Morgan opened up for Florida Georgia Line. It was before Covid. Weren't concerts fun? I miss concerts and can't wait for them to return...
