News broke a bit ago that Sam Hunt was arrested for DUI this morning in Nashville. Allegedly, Sam was driving the wrong way down the street, crossed the center divide several times, and had two empty beers next to him in the car. He also had trouble locating his drivers license (which was openly sitting on his lap) and mistakenly handed over both a credit card and his passport to the cops. He smelled of booze, failed a field sobriety test, and was booked around 6:30 this morning. The arrest warrant showed that he had a blood alcohol content of .173. The legal limit in Tennessee is .08.
Nashville's ABC affiliate had cameras rolling as Sam walked out of jail, and also have more coverage of the situation.
