If we've ever met or you've ever listened to me on the radio, it's pretty safe to say that you know that I'm a huge fan of racing! There is something so cool about the fact that you can get more than one car and see which one goes FASTER!!! I've been to a lot of NASCAR races and a lot of tracks, but my favorite track to visit is Martinsville. HANDS DOWN! I love the fan experience, I love short track racing, I love the beatin' 'n' bangin', and I love those two dollar hot dogs!
NASCAR's three main series are well into their playoffs right now, and next weekend, the trucks and cup series will pay their annual fall visit to Martinsville, which is the shortest track on the circuit. If you've been, you know how fun it is to go, and if you've never been, there's no better time like the present to check it out! A link to get tickets is here.
Martinsville President Clay Campbell was nice enough to call and chat about the upcoming races. Give our chat in it's entirety a listen below. And by the way...that part about Brett Moffitt never having a Martinsville hot dog is 100% TRUE! You can hear that here. And I HOPE HOPE HOPE that Moffit wins that truck race so that he eats a hot dog in victory lane!
