The biggest race in Late Models is coming to Martinsville!

Talk about fun... the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 will be held at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday, October 5th with qualifying on Friday the 4th, and Clay Campbell, the President of Martinsville Speedway was nice enough to take a few moments to call and chat about the festivities.

This race has grown into the "Daytona 500" for late model drivers. It has a huge purse- the winner alone will take home $32,000, not to mention a famed Martinsville Grandfather clock- plus there are additional prize monies available as well. And as if the race itself isn't thrilling enough, qualifying has been changed a bit this year and it's going to have it's own excitement!

Tickets are available here or at 1-877-RACE-TIX. Grab some tickets, take a couple extra bucks for a world famous Martinsville Hot Dog (still only $2), and go have a great time! It's fun for the whole family with kids under 17 free with paid adult admission!

Here is my chat with Clay in it's entirety.
