Last week, Chris Young performed a brand new song at the Grand Ole Opry called "Drowning." The song in itself is very sad. It's about missing someone close to you who has passed away. But as sad as the song is, emotions got the best of Chris, and in the middle of the performance, Chris was brought to tears and had a hard time getting through it. Which I'm sure brought the entire Opry House to tears...
Yesterday, Chris said on social media that the song will be released, posting "Last week, I debuted my new tune “Drowning” at the@opryand broke down in the middle of it... since then so many people have shared stories of loved ones lost and how they have connected to this song. I want you guys to have this one, and make it your own, so I’m going to release it this Friday."
A fan at the Opry that night caught the whole video and posted it to You Tube. It's easy to hear why Chris broke down. GORGEOUS song!
