A story broke this week about Dale Earnhardt Jr and how he smoked for years! He hid it from his fans, media, sponsors... everyone including his dad! Seemingly everyone in his family smoked as well, except his dad, who disapproved of everyone's smoking. It wasn't until he met his wife Amy and things started getting serious that he had enough motivation to quit. As most smokers do, he had tried to quit and failed. And then he tried again and failed again. It wasn't until Amy told him one day that his smoking could be a deal breaker in their relationship that he finally was able to put down the cigarettes for good.
