Chatting with Denny Hamlin

I like Denny Hamlin, driver of the number 11 Fed Ex Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. He has always been an exciting driver to watch. He made his debut in NASCAR's top-tier Cup series in 2005 at Kansas, got his first win a year later at Pocono, and has since chalked up 33 wins including two wins at the Daytona 500. 2019 is off to a great start for Denny, as he already has two wins this season including Daytona and Texas, and he is qualified for NASCAR's playoffs. This week, NASCAR returns to where it all started for Denny, Kansas Speedway, and then they're coming home for a couple of weeks for the All-Star Race and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Denny was kind enough to take a few moments to call and chat about his recent trip to the Norfolk Naval Base as well as the upcoming races, and here is our conversation in it's entirety. While you're listening, click here to get your tickets to see Denny and all of the amazing races at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The All-Star Race is May 18th, the Coke 600 is May 26th, and there's also a ton of fun to be had at the Truck and Xfinity races in between. Be sure to look into some of the great packages available too. And for even more fun, head across the street and check out the World Of Outlaws at The Dirt Track on May 24th and 25th!
