The North Carolina Zoo, located in Asheboro, is such a treasure to our state! The zoo features over 1,600 animals within 500 acres and is such a great place to visit!
Thanks to winter storm Diego, we can't visit today or tomorrow because the zoo is closed, but they tweeted out some pictures of animals that must be feeling right at home in the snow that Asheboro got! Check out the Polar Bear, who looks so majestic among all of the snow! She is right at home!
And the Arctic Foxes are so beautiful and look right at home as well!
