Chatting with Jon Jones of the Eli Young Band

I love this time of year!  The All-Star Race, the Truck race, the World of Outlaws, the Xfinity Race, the Coca-Cola 600 and all of the fun activities that go along with these two weeks make it so fun and cool to live in North Carolina!

Last weekend, I headed out to the Charlotte Motor Speedway for the All-Star Race and caught the Cole Swindell show ahead of time.  What a fun afternoon/night!  And this Sunday will be no different. Eli Young Band will do the free pre-race concert this week, and then it's on to NASCAR's longest race of the year, the Coca-Cola 600.

Jon Jones is the bassist for the Eli Young Band.  As it turns out, he is a big race fan with a young son who loves cars, and Jon is just as excited as anyone to get to Charlotte to catch the action.  Not only will he enjoy everything that the speedway has to offer, but it sounds like he will have a blast watching it through his son's eyes.  Here is our interview in it's entirety.
