Heather has won nearly every event in her sport throughout the world- an incredible 85 World Cup medals and three of the last four overall women's titles! But she still hasn't won an Olympic medal. This is Heather's third Olympics, and we are pulling HARD for Heather to bring some hardware home to North Carolina!
Yesterday, she took eighth in the 1000 meter speed skating, and eighth in the 1500 meter speed skating. She has four more events left at the Olympics, three of which can earn her a medal. Look for Heather Sunday in the 500 meters, Monday in the team pursuit qualifications, Next Wednesday the 21st in the team pursuit finals, and on the 24th in Mass Start.
