Yesterday, NASCAR announced a whole new format to the 2017 races, and a whole new way of drivers getting points (as if the last points system wasn't confusing enough!). Actually, this is pretty cool. Drivers including Dale Jr, Denny Hamlin, Brad Keselowski, past drivers like Jeff Gordon and Jeff Burton, and a handful of others all came together for the "new and improved" NASCAR. The bottom line is, EVERY race counts...and while I know a lot of diehard NASCAR fans don't like change, I think this might be pretty cool. From one fan to another, let's give it a chance :)
