Brittany Aldean Releases Limited Edition Barbie Inspired Shirts

Brittany Aldean has released Barbie-Inspired clothing just days after Maren Morris' "Insurrection Barbie" comment. The Barbie-Inspired tee shirts and sweat shirts are only being sold until Friday night with proceeds benefiting Operation Light Shine.

So what's this all about? Lets recap.

Last week, Brittany shared an Instagram reel showing a before and after make-up application. She captioned the video, "I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life." That caption ruffled some feathers.

Cassadee Pope shared her feelings on twitter in a post saying, "You’d think celebs with beauty brands would see the positives in including LGBTQ+ people in their messaging. But instead here we are, hearing someone compare their “tomboy phase” to someone wanting to transition. Real nice." And then Maren Morris responded to Cassadee's tweet with her own thoughts, "It's so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie."

Brittany Aldean responded on Instagram stories: " Some parents want to be accepted by society so badly that they're willing to make life-altering decisions for their children who aren't old enough to fully comprehend the consequences of those actions. Love is protecting your child until they are mature enough as an adult to make their own life decisions... Until then, leave children alone!"

Now Brittany along with her sister -in- love, Kasi, have released Barbie inspired shirts that will benefit Operation Light Shine. Brittany shared the line of clothes on Instagram with the caption, "Per usual, my words have been taken out of context over the last week. Instead of getting twisted about the twisting of my words, I’ve chosen to bring some good out of it. Introducing our NEW Barbie inspired line LIVE NOW❣️ **Through this launch we will be giving back to and supporting @operationlightshine in effort to help fight child exploitation and human trafficking. THIS SALE ENDS FRIDAY NIGHT!! Click the link in the bio or head to www.brittanyandkasi.com to purchase yours."
