Skiers on the ski-lift at Beech Mountain got an unexpected surprise on Friday when a hydrant shot cold water into the air. Video shows skiers riding right over the blast of cold water on the lift and one cart got stuck right above it. A skier on the ground ran into the hydrant causing it to break. Two skiers were taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries. A few skiers actually jumped from the ski lift when they saw what was going on. Thankfully, the resort crews were able to get get everyone off the ski lift and also stop the water. See more on the story HERE
