We've Got Your 6 Event Supporting Local Law Enforcement

This Saturday, January 9th, Carolina Cruzin4Jeeps and Carolina Cruise4Kids have teamed up to support our local law enforcement. The "We've Got Your 6" cruise and fundraising event will support several of our local officers who were recently injured in the line of duty. Cars, Jeeps and motorcycles will line up together for the cruise to show their respect for two local fallen officers, Concord Officer Jason Shupin who died in the line of duty on December 16th and Officer Tyler Herndon of the Mount Holly Police Department who died in the line of duty on December 11th.

Following the cruise parade, there will be a silent auction along with raffles with all money raised supporting three local officers who were recently injured in the line of duty. Proceeds to help with medical bills will be donated to two Gastonia officers, Sergeant Charles Nelson and K9 Officer Michael Lewis who were injured following a shooting, November 12th at Remedies nightclub in Gastonia. Proceeds be given to help with medical bills for the Kings Mountain police officer, Corporal Lee Whittington who was shot in the line of duty on December 19th.

Vehicles will gather this Saturday Morning, flying their blue line flags as they drive from Charlotte to Kings Mountain. Once the cruise reaches Kings Mountain they will pass by Kings Mountain native, the fallen Mount Holly Officer Tyler Herndon's family home to show his family and friends how much we appreciate all our officers do and the sacrifices they make.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to all those who put together this event and the businesses who donated services to help raise as much money possible to support our local heroes. If you'd like to show your support to our local officers, you can see all the "We've Got Your 6" event details HERE
