Getting a grocery cart for Christmas doesn't sound romantic but it was to Trisha Yearwood!!! She says it's one of the most romantic gifts Garth Brooks has ever given her. (Say Whaaaat?) According to Trisha, she and Garth were discussing groceries and how when you get home from the store, you have to make multiple trips from the car to the house carrying heavy loads. Trisha mentioned how cool it would be if you had a cart at home.
Well, Garth being the kind of man that listens to the small details took a mental note and decided he was getting his wife a grocery cart for Christmas. AND HE DID! But it wasn't just any old cart, it was a sentimental one. There was a grocery store called Red and White in the town Trisha grew up in. Sadly the store is no longer in business. Long story short, Garth was able to pull some strings and get a cart from the closed down business. Maybe that is a little romantic with all the thought that went into it BUT let it be known to all the other husbands, most women do not want a grocery cart for Christmas when we have husbands that can help with carrying the grocery load!
