Burgeoning Craft Beer Industry Creates Niche Market For Limited Release Beers

People who attended Olde Mecklenburg Brewery's Mecktoberfest are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19 after the event was linked to positive cases, according to Mecklenburg County Public Health Director's Gibbie Harris. As of now it is not considered a cluster.

“There were thousands of people there. Those folks need to be tested,” Harris said.

The Charlotte Observer reported two cases have been connected to the event.
