Cabarrus County issued a notification stating:
"The Cabarrus County Board of Education voted at its, Called Meeting on Sept. 21, 2020, 4 to 3 to transition to Plan A for students in grades K-3 and to transition students in grades 4-12 to Plan B beginning Monday, Oct. 19, 2020. Plan A, which Gov. Cooper announced on Sept. 17th , returns students to in-person learning; Plan B is a combination of in-person and remote learning. The district will share more information about these transitions in the coming days."
Watuga Schools will also start some in-person learning on October. 5th. K-3 will have a mix of both in-person and virtual throughout the week, while higher grade levels will begin the transition on October 19.
Gaston County Schools are also moving towards Plan A, but haven't made a final decision.
