NC Virtual Learning Platform Crashes Minutes Into First Day of School

On the first day of school for students across Charlotte, families were stuck without access to NCEdCloud, a program that allows teachers to set up a virtual classroom where students can access assignments and teaching materials.

CMS released a statement saying, "We are aware of statewide problems with access to the state’s NC EdCloud platform. This is limiting access to remote learning tools for CMS and other districts across the state. State officials are working on a solution.'

Some teachers and families adjusted by using Zoom.
