Brothers Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Gives Back to Local Nurse

Imagine wearing layers of PPE for hours on end while bravely offering selfless care to patients fighting coronavirus, only to go home to a failing air conditioner or without the ability to take a hot shower.

Witness the power of giving back when Brothers, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, part of the American Residential Services Network of Brands, surprises Rock Hill resident Sarah Hagman-Lee with a home services makeover on June 11. Hagman-Lee was nominated by a family friend to win the new HVAC system as part of ARS Cares Healthcare Heroes program, which is a nationwide effort to recognize the tremendous bravery and sacrifice of healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 on the front lines.

Hagman-Lee is a registered nurse and single mother of two teenagers. While working long hours on the frontlines during the COVID-19 crisis, and caring for her teenagers, she also attends school in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She has lived in her home for almost 10 years and has had to repeatedly repair her HVAC system. In addition to costly repairs, the dying system has also resulted in extremely high power bills. Brothers Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is so happy to be a much needed blessing in this local hero’s life.

Receiving more than 420 nominations, ARS is rewarding home services makeovers to more than 50 deserving healthcare workers in 19 states.
