MaxPreps, the go to website for all things related to high school sports, released a list of the most popular high school football teams per state. The list was based on teams with the most views combined with the most followers between April 2019 and April 2020. MaxPreps released the top 5 football teams from each state. There are 981 High Schools in the state of North Carolina so it's a very BIG deal that four out of the five schools on the list are right here in the Charlotte and surrounding area. And we all know that I personally am a diehard KINGS MOUNTAIN MOUNTIES FAN so I'm extra pumped to see that MY TEAM made the list!!! (GDTBAM) Congratulations to the entire top 5!
