Man Uses Pliers To Pull Infected Tooth During Covid-19 Lockdown

Before we get into the story, I must warn you... the pictures are GRAPHIC.... so if you have a weak stomach do not look at the pictures in the gallery below.

Because of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the strict stay-at-home orders, many of us have faced challenges like "trying to cut our on hair" or keeping our nails manicured. There's one man, 33-yeaer-old Billy Taylor from the United Kingdom, that took a dental emergency into this own hands. Taylor had an infected tooth that became extremely painful, Taylor got to the point where he couldn't bare the pain any longer. Taylor grabbed a pair of pliers, downed a couple shots of whiskey and told his 11-year-old son to keep an eye on him just in case he passed out. It took about an hour but Taylor was able to successfully pull the tooth! He said the process was "bloody painful and hideous."

I'm sure all dentists would say NEVER take a "do-it-yourself" approach when it comes to your teeth.

(Thankfully, here in the Charlotte area, there is still help for those facing a dental emergency. Charlotte Dentistry is hands down the best dentistry in the area and they are offering emergency appointments for those that have an urgent dental need during this time. Charlotte Dentistry is where I take my family for all of our dental needs... you'll LOVE them)

Now, back to the pulled tooth! If you'd like to see pictures of Billy Taylor's pulled tooth, you can check out the pictures in the gallery below. Here's your second warning, the pictures are EXTREMELY graphic. Click the picture gallery below ...it's the second picture
