List of Things Canceled or Postponed Around Charlotte Due to Coronavirus

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — As the COVID-19 coronavirus spreads, sports leagues, events and St. Patrick's Day celebrations around the country are being canceled or postponed. 

As these public events get canceled or postponed, WCNC Charlotte will be updating you as we learn more.

  • Charlotte St. Patrick's Day Parade has been postponed to a later date that has not yet been announced.
  • Rich and Bennett's St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl: Event organizers have postponed this year's St. Patrick's Day Pub Crawl for June 27.
  • White Water Center Green River Revival has been canceled. 
  • Michael Bublé has postponed all of his shows from March 17-April 5th. This includes his show in Charlotte, NC on March 18.
  • Sesame Street Live! at Ovens Auditorium has been canceled.
  • The Mexican National Team’s MEXTOUR match scheduled for March 26th at Bank of America Stadium has been canceled.
  • ACC Men's Basketball Tournament: The remainder of the tournament has been canceled due to coronavirus.
  • Charlotte Hornets games: The NBA has suspended all games "until further notice" after Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
  • Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools field trips: All field trips in and out of Mecklenburg County have been canceled indefinitely.
  • TROLLS World Tour movie screening has been canceled.
  • Salute to Heroes hockey game has been postponed.
  • Blue October "Get Back Up" screening has been postponed.
  • Dreamville Festival postponed to August 29, 2020.
