I listened to the new Lady Antebellum album Ocean on a 4 hour road trip (by myself) to Atlanta for work. That my best windshield/alone time. When I got to this song I caught myself relating on so many levels. The lyrics are “Take a look at our little paradise. It ain't much but baby, you and I picked the right stars, made the right wish. Ain't nothing out there like this.” The song goes on to talk about how great of a little life (we) built and even though it may not be much, it's ours and we wouldn't change it for the world. The lyrics take it to a place where you can feel the heartache as someone has to leave for work to help take care of the family and when all is said and done can't wait to get back to that wonderful little world. The interesting thing is... it's a happy song. I already get emotional when I hear this song and then BOOM. They do it to me. They bust out videos of them with their families. Their happy times with their littles, their work on the road, and then coming back to the magic at home... This is such a great song and they're absolutely made the best video for it. Get ready to get hit right in the feels!
