Sam Hunt Teases New Song 'Sinning With You' Dropping Tonight At Midnight

Sam Hunt is teasing the release of his new song "Sinning With You" set to drop tonight at midnight. The country singer took to social media Thursday (January 2) to share a short clip of a campfire burning along with a preview of the track.

Hunt first debuted "Sinning With You" during his "Bud Light House Party" show in Calgary, Canada. The confessional ballad is about a guy with a "checkered" pas and a girl with a "spotless" record.

“I never felt like I was sinning with you/ Always felt like I could talk to God in the morning/ I knew that I would end up with you/ Always felt like I could talk to God in the morning/ If it’s so wrong, why did it feel so right/ If it’s so wrong why’d it never feel like sinning with you,” he sings on the chorus.

"Sinning With You" follows up Hunt's latest single "Kinfolks" released in early October. Fans are still anxiously awaiting the country singer's new album expected some time in 2020.

"I'm turning in the record in January, and it'll come out before we start touring in the summer. So I don't know an exact date but within that window," Hunt previously revealed. The forthcoming project follows up Hunt's 2014 platinum debut Montevallo.

Hunt celebrated the start of 2020 with a performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin Eve With Ryan Seacrest. The 35-year-old performed "Kinfolk" and his smash hit "Body Like A Backroad" live from New York City.

In addition to Hunt, several other country artists also performed on the New Year's Eve special. Kelsea Ballerini and Dan + Shay performed during the show while Keith Urban rocked the stage in Nashville alongside Ashley McBryde and Kalie Shorr.
