Iconic Charlotte skyscraper to be purchased for $455 Million & renamed

Charlotte is famous for being the banking capital of the south. In just one month since the merger of BB&T Bank and Suntrust was approved the new bank, named Truist, has already made their first big acquisition. It also happens to be one of Charlotte's most iconic buildings. The company that owns the Hearts Tower in Uptown announced plans to sell the building (for $455 MIllion) to Truist and that they will rename it "The Truist Center." The 46 story skyscraper will serve as the world headquarters for the bank. Check out the press release and read more here!
