Alex Fischer may be little but she has a big heart! With Thanksgiving just a few weeks away, Alex wanted to raise money so families in need could enjoy a nice family Thanksgiving meal together. Alex worked a lemonade stand, went door to door for donations and also made a presentation at her school. Her goal was to raise $150 to make 10 boxes of food. Alex ended up raising $1,555.00 which is enough to feed 100 families in the Charlotte area! How does Alex feel about her accomplishment? She told NBC 6, "I am thankful that other people can have Thanksgiving now!"
