Person Seriously Injured in Uptown Shooting Near Area of 3-Alarm Fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Police are investigating after a person was shot in uptown while crews battled a large fire just minutes away. 

The shooting happened just after 3:30 p.m. near Trade and College streets.

This happened less than an hour after a 3-alarm fire broke out at an uptown restaurant.
