Kelly Clarkson Supports Taylor Swift In Label Feud

Taylor Swift was heart broken when she learned Scooter Braun bought Big Machine Records from label founder Scott Borchetta. Braun now owns the rights to all of Taylor's old music. According to Taylor, she was never given the opportunity to buy back the rights to her work. She took to Tumblr to express her frustration stating, "Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it." Kelly Clarkson recently went on Twitter to share her two cents, giving Taylor Swift some great advice. She tweeted, "@TaylorSwift13 Just a thought, U should go in & re-record all the songs that U don’t own the masters on exactly how U did them but put brand new art & some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions. I’d buy all of the new versions just to prove a point."

Taylor Swift's new album "Lover" with her new label, Republic Records comes out August 23rd.
