One of my favorite country stars is Lauren Alaina. She is by far one of the most talented people in country music today. So I was so happy to see that she and her longtime boyfriend Alex Hopkins got engaged back in July. But sometimes things just happen and she has released a statement saying they they have called off their engagement and are moving on with their lives. They are asking for grace, compassion and respect at this time and I say they deserve it. These days it's so hard to be in a relationship, imagine being in a public relationship where every one has an opinion about everything. Now I know in the coming weeks there will be many trolls out there who jump on the "hate" bandwagon and start tossing out negativity at both of them and it makes me sad. So please, if you're a fan, do as they ask and give them their space.
