We are going to have to wait until NEXT December to actually see the movie, but Andrew Lloyd Webber just let the "Cat" out of the bag about which role Taylor Swift will play in his movie "Cats."
The musical “Cats” is getting its own movie adaptation, which is slated for a December 2019 release. And now, Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber is offering details about which role the Taylor Swift is taking on.
“She’s going to play one or other of the ‘Macavity’ girls,” Webber said in an interview on Monday, but for those who haven't seen the Broadway production, what does that mean?
Well here you go!
Taylor has two very famous cats of her own! Olivia Benson, named after the “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” character, and “Meredith Grey,” the same name as the “Grey’s Anatomy” star.
The upcoming movie is currently in rehearsals and will kick off filming next month.
We've got the details about a couple of the other roles too: “American Idol” alum Jennifer Hudson, 37, will reportedly play Grizabella, while Ian McKellen will play Gus the theater cat.
