Actress Heather Locklear has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.
Sheriff's officials said she was taken into custody Sunday night and the arrest didn't seem to be an easy one as she was also arrested for three counts of battery on emergency personnel, authorities said.
A spokesperson reports:
The Ventura County Sheriff's Office received a call of domestic disturbance in Thousand Oaks, Calif., at 10 p.m. Sunday.
"Our deputies responded and contacted Heather Locklear at that residence."
"She was uncooperative with deputies and battered our deputies. We conducted an investigation into the original call of the domestic disturbance and determined she had battered her boyfriend. She was arrested for felony domestic battery and three counts of misdemeanor battery on a police officer. She claimed prior to our arrival that she had been battered or injured. Although we did not see any evidence of that, out of an abundance of caution, she was transported to a hospital for evaluation." Locklear was booked at 1:03 a.m. Monday and released at 5:48 a.m. after posting $20,000 bail.
She is due back in court on March 13th.

This isn't the first time Heather has been arrested, in the past she has had issues with alcohol and drug abuse, and has been taken into custody before.

Law enforcement sources tell us Chris Heisser was arrested at 12:43 AM Monday morning by the California State Highway Patrol. We're told he was spotted on the 101 freeway driving at a slow rate of speed -- officers pulled him over and conducted a field sobriety test. Chris blew a .19 and a .20 ... the 56-year-old was cited and released a short time later.
