Gastonia, N.C. – September 20, 2017 – Gastonia Nissan will be teaming up once again with CaroMont Health by hosting their Mobile Mammography Coach and covering the cost for up to 21 mammogram screenings for uninsured women. The event is from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14th at the dealership located at 2275 E. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia.
One in every eight women in the United States will develop breast cancer. The CaroMont Health Wellness Coach is a mobile screening service that offers various health screenings in Gaston County and the local community. Comprised of highly-trained professionals, the Mobile Wellness Team brings preventative screening to the places it is most convenient. Screening mammography is the most effective method used to identify breast cancer early. Early detection saves lives. Women 40 years of age and older are encouraged to have annual screening mammograms.
