He claims it wasn't alcohol, but prescription medication that had a negative effect on him.
He has been released from a Florida jail and is waiting on his court date.

Tiger's girlfriend, Kristin Smith, had learned her boyfriend had been arrested while shopping in Dallas Texas at Neiman Marcus. She got the phone call, and witnesses say she just kept saying "I Knew It" over and over again, and began crying. She must not have been too upset though, she went on to spend $5,000 before leaving the store!
