UNCC Campus Updates: Support Services, Candlelight Vigil Info and More

Support Services

  • Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) - CAPS will open at 8 a.m. to serve students or call 704-687-0311 to be connected to a counselor
  • Employee Assitance Program (EAP) - Employees needing support should contact the EAP at 1-877-603-8259. Visit the HR website for more info.
  • Family Assistance Center (FAC) - The FAC will open at 8 a.m. in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center (SAC) to provide specialized support services to victims and their immediate families.

Campus vigil

A candlelight vigil will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 in the University’s Halton Arena, located in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center (building 46 on this campus map.)

Exams

Exams through Sunday remain canceled.

Commencement

Commencement ceremonies will continue as planned. Graduates should monitor their email for additional information from the Commencement Office.
